One of the best movies I have seen recently. I love watching people who love something so much and are very competent in it.

Kind of disappointed with the finale. But overall, a good —although somewhat generic— nun horror movie.

This movie just became my favorite horror movie of all time. The perfect pacing, the perfectly crafted scenes, a story about grief, adolescence, family, and so much more. I don’t think I will get as scared and invested in a horror movie like this one for a long time.

It adds more depth and world-building to the latest movies of the Mad Max saga with a satisfying action-revenge story.

Made me a little more happy after watching it.

A bit to silly of a movie that goes all over the place with a lot of forgettable dialogs. Nevertheless, a good addiction to familiy popcorn movie.

I love you Mike Flanagan.

Probably the one with the most consistent good bits through the movie of the franchise. I love the originality in those.

Godzilla.

A heartwarming end to the Ip man saga. Not as many absurd fights as the others, but still impactful in those. Nice bruce lee references.

Superb actors, subtle and and malignant.

Entertaining, badass, and visually cool.

Those jumpscares got me for real.

Funny enough. I was not expecting some plot twists and the action scenes are amazing.

Badass Dad.

A solid action move with satisfying fights and sound effects. The movie delivered emotional scenes and a decent plot. Was not expecting Mike Tyson to be in the movie.

Honestly I still don’t know hot to react to the last few minutes of the movie and some cringe moments. Nevertheless, a very cool original plot and visuals.

Fight scenes felt real and the visuals are really something, Dev patel was incredible as both actor and director.

One of the best of the genre, very atmosferic and tense. Entertaining from start to finish.

A lot more gore than the ones I saw before, not really a fan of too much gore but some moments where real scary and I’m a sucker for analog horror.

It’s always a pleasure when an epic, sci-fi fantasy movie does not need to resort to silly jokes or overused action scenes to capture the eyes of the watcher. Probably one of the most well made, beautiful movies of all time.

One of the best found footage movies I have ever seen. Insane CGI for the movie’s low budget.

This movie tells two stories in one without the need of much previous context in a beautiful and heavy manner. It also talks a lot with little. Sad, great dialogues and atmosphere.

Koreans directors really know how to make authentic and heartbreaking movies about wars and civil conflicts. Impactful and beautiful. Also the main character made me remember of Pandora.

Great twist, nice visuals and cool plot. A little cringe here and there but completely ignorable.

We love and we hate and we do things and it goes wrong an we lose ourselves in what we do. A bad day for some, a fresh start for another.

I genuinely got scared. This movie does not shy away from showing uncomfortable scenes and has an unexpected ending. I nice one if you like jump scares.

I wish I could say I enjoyed this one. However, I spent most of the movie trying to feel something that wasn’t really there. No relatable characters, no clean sense of reason for their motives or actions, and the worst of it: Poor character development at the cost of women suffering. Pretty much every character was an utterly dumb and shit person.

The only upside of this movie is it’s beautiful scenery.

Note: The constant flashing of text and keyboard typing was annoying as hell.

A nice addition to the “Man has a bad day and goes on an nightime adventure” collection. Also my man Kubrick for sure knew something.

An okayish funny movie to watch while eating popcorn.

The long scenes amused me. The dog sure knows how to act. Did she do it though? I got a little confused in the end - Perhaps I’m not smart enough to get it.

Both humorous and dark, A good movie with a lot of smart takes on contemporary issues. I just thought that the ending could have been better.

Ok. This one just became one of my favorite movies of all time. Everything was resonating with me - the analog horror, the organic machinery, the philosophy of the plot, the aesthetics - I loved it all.

After seeing this, I can see a lot of media that probaby took inspiration from it. David Cronenberg was ahead of its time.

The television screen is the retina of the mind’s eye. Therefore, the television screen is part of the physical structure of the brain… Whatever appears on the television screen emerges as raw experience for those who watch it… Television is reality, and reality is less than television.

I guess god gives his hardest battles for his horniest nurses? Also most of the scenes are a bit too dark. I liked the plot and the theme.

Very Funny. I’m not into funny movies. Also a movie about a book that is about a book and then turns it into a movie.

Fantastic movie. Honestly, I don’t have to much to say about it other than formidable in every aspect. If you have the chance, go watch it while it still is in the big screens.

A very sad, heart touching movie. I was not familiar with the original, real life story of the Von Erich family. What stroke me the most was that, despite a very tragic movie, the real life story was actually orders of magnitude worse.

Fantastical acting, nice pacing and enjoyable cinematography.

Though not really a scary movie, it did allowed itself to be dark and gore-y when necessary. I really liked the ending. 80’s ambiance was there but not quite as good as it could be.

An unconfortable, slow paced movie that is not for everyone. However, the ambiance, dialogues and aesthetics pleased me a lot. I like the general idea of organic machines, and the debate on human evolution.

Surgery is the new sex

I came into this one knowing nothing at all, and was not expecting it to be, in the end, a queer movie. Very beautiful and heart touching, with a reminder of how hard and confusing childhood can be when confronted with the realization of who you are.

”Who is the monster?”

I had never watched a macedonian movie before. I suspect a lot of the movie had to do with critics of parenthood, toxic relationships, gender confusion and self discovery, but applied to their cultural context.

A very charming movie with an original plot and a lot of plot twists going on till the end.

In a good tech dystopia fashion that makes me think of a 50’s sci-fi book, the movie does not need to give background nor add more context for me to understand it’s metaphors and critiques transmitted with a heavy atmosphere and accompanied by uncomfortable aesthetic-pleasing scenes.

As a fan of both horror movies and retro style, I could watch stuff like this for an entire day. For me, no story stands out in particular, and I found all of them to be quite enjoyable. A little more gore-y than V/H/S/99, which I don’t really care for, but it looks nice on VHS style.

Great overall acting, pretty setup, and even though the aspect ratio got me a little annoyed in the first twenty minutes, I eventually got to enjoy its combination with the ambiance of the movie. It does a good job of hiding the main character’s reasons until the very end, which made me rethink his actions and what was going on inside his head during many scenes, making it a little more thought-provoking.
