Vermis II by Plastiboo (2024)
5/5

In a similar style of Vermis I, but less focused on being a game guide and more on being a narrative for a walkthrough of the hipotetical game. The middle feels a little boring. Once again, impecable art style and world map.

Vermis I by Plastiboo (2023)

Vermis is a very unique and innovative book. With an art style that is gorgeous and resonates with my aesthetic tastes, Vermis is basically an official narrative-guide written for a game that does not exist, while also being an effective inspirational content for your own fantasy worlds, serving as a base for it’s readers to apply in their own world-building.

Childhood's End. by Arthur C. Clarke (1953)

Every species, sooner or later, needs to evolve.

One of the best narratives I have ever read. A great story about human desire, evolution, curiosity and fear of the unknown. It covers a big range of topics such as utopia boredom, reflections of one’s existence and the possibilities of the future, and offers many points of view through a series of characters and arcs.
